Danta is a Colombian product, an animal in danger of extinction, and therefore the double significance in its masks, and the fatalism of one of them; a reflection objective in front of this situation of the loss of these beautiful animals. A creature made of wood that is a character developed as a toy by Iván Espinel responsible for Artefacto Inc. Art Toys, from Medellín, Colombia and made by Marente Carpinteria's workshop.

BIOGRAPHY: Iván Darío Espinell is Established in the city of Medellín, with experience in the world of graphic design and illustration, he promotes the design of toys for all ages. It is part of the organizing table of the ImagenPalabra Medellín illustration Festival and teaches workshops in Universities and workshops in the city at a national and international level. He is also a member of the collective ARTEFACTO INC. ART TOYS that since 2012 elaborates, exhibits, writes, manages and promotes projects related to the artistic movement of the Art Toys in Colombia. He is also member and co-founder of Art Toy Gama Collective.

First he was a collector of Art Toys, then he made his first figure: Supqua, a toy inspired by the Tayrona culture; with it he perfected different techniques and laid the foundations for the process of creating new Toys collections. Thus, ARTEFACTO INC. ART TOYS was born from generating new intervention media for artists, designers or simply anyone with a desire to paint, explore new artistic fields; also for figure collectors or Art Toys.

We adjust to the maximum what we can with this platform the shipping costs, which are the same for everyone in everycountry. But logically, in the end, depending on where it is sent from, and where it isreceived, there are variations. Therefore we always return the unspent.

Anyway...shipping costs are a little high sending from Colombia to any country (in this case we have indicated 55 dollars), we are sorry for this...We have indicated shipping costs to get the work in a week or two weeks to the destination. But if you do not mind receiving the work in a month or a month and a half, we can reduce the shipping costs, and then we can return part of the shipping costs you pay now.
