CONCEPT: In this artistic project ... ... the most personal by SAMUEL DE SAGAS, all the characters lack faces ... and inside, in a hole inside their heads, what they carry are their hearts ...

Each character has their own story. Their own life, where they all intertwine and create a historical network as if it were a comic book saga. Using the characters of the pop world, both graphic and real icon, they are decontextualized by artist and given a new identity. Changing the meaning of what it represents. The heart-shaped universe gives a reflection on whether it is the head or the emotionality that moves us. There is also a line between cute and strange since in this universe something always happens that we never get to know the end. An event that we see in the middle of the temporal event. As if it were a movie Frame.

Concept: "““The Pink God. A being that appears in different cultures, philosophies and religions, adapting to the iconography of the place. He is resplendent bright and almost Crystal, reflects everything around him and always supports his own heart-face. He always wears something from Balenciaga. Every character in the universe knows him but no one has really seen him. And it is said that he appears to give answers and enlightenment when you need it.”"

BIO: SAMUEL DE SAGAS - born in Malaga, Spain in 1986 - trained in Madrid, Malaga and Barcelona where he finished Fine Arts.

He has worked as a visual artist and illustrator for large companies such as Carolina Herrera, Desigual, or Zara, throughout Europe and part of Asia.

After a while he decided to bet on his own graphic work. "Hearting" everything.

He wrote an illustrated digital book, “100 phrases that I told myself and that I told you I would tell you” in addition to having been the protagonist in a short film “Becouse you're mine” by Jean-Baptiste Houng, and part of a play “La non-existent difference ”, by the playwright Toni Martin (Barcelona)

Despite being such a versatile artist, he defines himself as an artist in search of the essence and the truth.

"The boy of hearts" another of his nicknames that he begins to run through the networks, he dedicates himself to painting hearts inspired by pop culture and the contemporaneity we live in.
