BIO: Miguel Ángel Fúnez (1988), based in Madrid, Spain, creates his own original image using the widely known animal icon of popular culture as a starting point.

The artist himself says, speaking of the motivations that led him to start his creative career: "From a very young age I knew that my happiness was linked to art. It is difficult to pinpoint a starting point through which I decided to work as an artist, I remember that I was always between papers, pencils, paints... I constantly had a project on my hands, especially drawing and, yes, always in a self-taught way, I don't really know why but I never wanted to go to any academy. On the other hand, despite my At a young age, it was very clear to me that I would study Fine Arts, a decision that my parents fully supported and I will always be grateful to them."
