About the Artist:
From the depths of the Asian underground, Indonesian artist IKY.Z, a member of the SOTOY collective, has carved out his own voice within the international Art Toy scene. He has done so through characters that are far from mere figures — they are living entities, rebellious and unsettling, as if they had pierced through the atmosphere from some emotionally unstable galaxy.
His work fuses kaiju sensibilities with an aesthetic that shifts between the galactic, the mutant, and the anthropomorphic, giving rise to creatures with such an intense presence they seem to breathe beneath the surface of the resin.
