This piece plays with duality: the visible and the hidden, the tempting and the corrosive, what is offered with a smile but carries a much darker weight.

About the artist:
Aleix Gordo, based in Barcelona, is an artist, illustrator, and writer with a diverse and dynamic career. Starting out professionally creating illustrations for children's and young adult books, he later worked for the press, advertising agencies, and multinational companies in various sectors.
Today, Aleix focuses on painting, illustration, muralism, urban art, graphic design, and developing his own licensing brand. His work reflects a deep exploration of human contradictions, often blending the familiar with the unsettling to provoke thought and reflection.
