Da Minci is an imposing presence, born from the streets and sculpted with intent.
It was released at the height of the Art Toy movement in the early 2000s, a time when the streets of Hong Kong were bursting with art, rebellion, and attitude. From that urban energy emerged a new visual language: the one we now call Art Toys.

Art Toys like Da Minci aren’t just collectibles. They’re witnesses to the birth of a cultural revolution.

Tim Tsui first introduced Da Minci in 2007 at the Taipei Toy Festival, and later in 2008, during his international tour, which included the Artoyz exhibition in Paris. Since then, Da Minci has become one of the most iconic characters in the Da TeamBronx universe.

Inspired by graffiti, hip-hop, and street aesthetics, Da Minci channels rage and ferocity, turning them into tools to fight for dreams and respect.

Considered one of the leading names in the international Art Toy movement, Tim Tsui has turned his creative universe into a symbol of rebellion, urban aesthetics, and visual storytelling.

From Hong Kong, he founded his own label, Da TeamBronx, with which he redefined the urban vinyl scene by blending graffiti, hip-hop, and vinyl figures with attitude.
His Art Toys have not only become cult objects among collectors, but also caught the attention of global brands such as Coca-Cola, Adidas, Hasbro, MTV, Colette (France), Tower Records (Japan) and even the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.
