Custom Bearbrick 400% by Dhani Barragan "Piccolo"
$580.00
Description
Wisdom, honor, and perseverance. But in this piece, that resolve spills over: his body turned into plush, with open seams and exposed stuffing, embodying the price of standing tall. It’s not defeat. It’s wear.
Dhani Barragán reconfigures him as part of his "Deconstructed Pop" series, where icons of global visual culture are treated as worn-out plush toys: figures once admired, consumed, mythologized… until they collapse under the weight of voracious consumerism.
And if you’re here, it’s because you’re a collector who doesn’t follow trends—and to the algorithm, you say without blinking: “Don’t make me laugh, you ignorant little boy.”

About the Artist:
Between Neo Pop and Pop Surrealism, artist Dhani Barragán offers a critical and emotional perspective on the iconography that shaped generations, with a playful aesthetic that disarms through disorientation.
His work inhabits two parallel worlds: in "Deconstructed Pop", characters from global visual culture appear as symbolic objects, exhausted by desire and consumption. In "Dhu Stories", his darker imaginary, anthropomorphic creatures devour those same icons in an unsettling fable about nostalgia and voracious cultural consumerism.
For the collector, his work engages memory—without romanticism.
