You are buying an original and numbered and signed edition framed by professionals in a custom-made wooden frame, with special museum glass that prevents the deterioration of the work of art by direct incidence of light, that protects from UV rays and does not see reflections. The result is that there appears to be no glass. It is the type of glass that is used for works of art in museums.

In addition, on the back, a methacrylate has been used to close the frame and thus the collector can see the text perfectly that originally accompanies the mask and that is the one that is signed on its front. In other sense, the frame is also ready for at any time if you want to be able to remove the mask and the cardboard.

It is a framing that is ready to hang on a wall or display on a piece of furniture.

In short, you have a unique ART displayed in a unique and original way. WITH mask NUMBER 177 of 250.

ABOUT JAVIER CALLEJA

The Malaga artist graduated in Fine Arts in 2000 at the University of Granada and since then has participated in various group and individual exhibitions in numerous spaces, both private and public, national and international.

Calleja's works combine criticism and innocence, the tenderness of his reminiscences of the children's creative universe with the acidity given by the inscriptions they are accompanied by, forceful and often in English. We cannot contemplate his works in a linear way in the exhibitions in which he stars, since they are often exhibited in an almost chaotic or semi-hidden order, inviting the viewer to make an effort to look for them in the most varied places, taking.

Calleja is also the author of installations, wall paintings and works of medium and large format in which he plays with the idea of work within the work, and invites the viewer to be part of that playful scene, to interact by participating in its ironies or reacting before sizes in contrast: proportions in a duality that evokes the adult and child worlds. Among his artistic references we can find the aesthetics of comics, Japanese anime, Surrealism or Pop Art.

Calleja has presented individual and group exhibitions in national and international galleries and museums: Gallery Nanzuka Underground Tokio, Gallery Aisho Nanzuka Hong Kong, Gallery Dio Horia Mykonos, Gallery Rafael Pérez Hernando, Madrid, CAB de Burgos, Centro de Arte Contemporáneo de Alcobendas, Centro of Contemporary Art of Malaga and recently in Parco Museum Tokio, among others, as well as its participation in art fairs such as Art Basel Hong Kong, ARCO Madrid, Zona MACO, Art Brussels or Art Taipei. Her work has been featured in Juxtapoz, Hypebeast, and other international art publications. Lives and works in Malaga.
