This original pencil drawing forms part of the creative process behind “Springfield Deconstructed”, the first series within Dhani Barragán’s “Deconstructed Pop” universe.
In this line, the artist presents pop icons with open seams, visible stuffing, and bodies altered by wear, visual memory, and the trace of cultural consumption.

This sketch corresponds to the character Mr. Burns, the piece that brought the limited edition print collection of only 33 copies per character to a close.

A particularly significant visual ending within a series where Dhani Barragán began to consolidate one of the most recognizable languages in his work.
