About the Artist: Hiroshi Yoshii / 吉井 宏
Hiroshi Yoshii is an illustrator, character designer, and artist with a distinguished career in the world of art and pop culture. Since the early 2000s, he has been creating 3D mascots and characters for major companies, including NTT Docomo, Swarovski, and Google France. His distinctive, colorful, and expressive style has made him a key figure in character design, expanding his creativity into the realm of Art Toys and FRP sculptures.
Among his most iconic works are "Hitsuji no Shitsujikun" for NTT Docomo, the "HOOT, THE OWL" series for Swarovski, and numerous collaborations with international brands. His personal project, "TDW Character", launched in 1999, continues to evolve with the constant creation of original characters.
Globally recognized for his ability to blend imagination, design, and technology, Yoshii continues to explore new forms of artistic expression in both digital and physical media.
