Diptych Painting by Celipe Perroloco "Corrupted Pika & Ball"
$380.00
Description
Two original paintings on recycled cardboard, conceived as a single artwork in two parts.
This diptych belongs to Célipe Perroloco’s “Corrupted Pop” series and takes two inseparable elements from the collective visual imagination. But here, they do not appear through clean or childish nostalgia.
Célipe passes them through a darker, graphic, and underground filter. The black, aggressive, almost wild lines break the friendly aesthetic of the original icon, while the flat, saturated colors burst against the neutral background of the recycled cardboard.
The work connects anime, video games, pop memory, and contemporary urban art through a direct language, apparently simple, but charged with emotional tension.
Célipe Perroloco, also known as Fragile Freaks, works with simple materials such as cardboard and paper, transforming them into pieces with great expressive force, character, and presence.
