But at the same time he protects himself, activating a very contemporary contradiction: that of a culture obsessed with making itself visible while hiding behind the filter, the aesthetic, and the shared codes of social media.

This work belongs to the “Shameless” series, in which Moi Martos presents different characters with their pants lowered, literally exposing their “private parts.” But this gesture does not end in sheer cheekiness; it becomes a visual device for speaking about identity, exhibition, and vulnerability.
