Xavi Carbonell takes an icon of the Art Toy movement and turns it into a unique artwork where color, gesture and characters seem to compete for the surface.

This Custom 400% Bearbrick works as a field of tension. Electric pink and glossy black coexist like two opposing forces: one wilder, one darker; one more playful, one more raw. Everything vibrates.

Note about the color: We do everything possible to represent the colors of the artwork as accurately as possible. However, in this case, the electric fuchsia used by the artist, combined with the glossy varnish finish, creates a visual intensity that is difficult to capture in photography.

In person, the piece has a stronger, brighter and more physical presence. The camera gets close. But it does not fully arrive.
