“Paint in Pink” by Riccardo Nannini reinterprets one of the most memorable scenes from the first Pink Panther episode in 1969: that absurd and brilliant mission to paint the whole world pink. The work transforms that imaginary into a precise, multi-figure composition full of detail, where pop humor coexists with a carefully constructed visual language.
Created for the 60th anniversary Pink Panther exhibition, organized by Lucha de Gigantes in Madrid in 2023, this piece was released as part of an edition with official license authorized by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, a detail that reinforces its collectible appeal.
Riccardo Nannini (Italy, 1980) develops a pictorial language in which technical precision, comic irony, and the symbolic force of pop imagery coexist. He has exhibited in galleries and contemporary art fairs across Europe, Asia, and the United States, and actively collaborates with magazines, independent galleries, and emerging brands.
