“Deconstructed Pop Fusion” is a line within Dhani Barragán’s artistic universe where classic characters from cartoons, comics, anime, manga, and pop culture merge to form new entities.
They are not simple mixes of recognizable characters. They are hybrid images built from shared visual memories: figures that already belong to our collective memory, but here they appear transformed, displaced, and reassembled through Dhani’s graphic language.

Dhani Barragán works with that strange feeling of instant recognition: you see something you know, but not exactly as you remembered it. The characters collide, contaminate each other, and are rebuilt into a new visual presence.
