It appears as a visceral force, loaded with chiaroscuro: an entity that protects, but at the same time squeezes and traps through expectations, jealousy or emotional dependence.

The bright colors and cartoon aesthetics take us into the world of animation, but they collide with a darker tension: the spiky line, the empty eye sockets and that red smile, so direct, so marked, almost like a saturated scar.

Célipe Perroloco is a multidisciplinary artist who transforms humble materials such as cardboard, paper, canvas and ink into works full of strength and expressiveness.

His work balances light and shadow, joy and wound, simplicity and complexity. His characters may seem direct, almost primitive, but they always hide a second reading: vulnerability, defense and psychological introspection.
