About the Artist:
CHICCA (Spain, 1975) has a long professional and artistic career. As a child, she was drawn to teddy bears with “sad eyes,” believing they had fought a thousand battles.
Today, her work gives a voice to those “bears,” telling new stories that reflect her concerns and the realities of her time. With a naïve and surrealist perspective, she addresses themes such as corruption, crises, war, and hope, delivering a message that is both critical and social.
