It expands around the character like an energy that no longer accepts being trapped inside the drawing. As if the figure were trying to escape its own borders.

And that is where the tension of the piece appears.

Beneath its direct appearance, there is a small rebellion: the repressed coming out, the emotional deforming the image.

Also known as Fragile Freaks, Célipe Perroloco transforms simple materials such as cardboard and paper into works charged with strength and visual tension. His language moves between simplicity and complexity, between light and shadow, between the apparent innocence of the pop icon and a much freer, rawer, more visceral energy.

This work speaks of pop culture trying to escape its own boundaries.
