About the Artist:
David Sánchez (Madrid, 1977) is one of the strongest voices in Spanish alternative comics. He came to prominence in 2010 with "Tú me has matado" (Astiberri), which earned him the Best New Author Award at the Barcelona International Comic Fair. His work maintains a strong visual and conceptual coherence, centered on characters defined by social roles—workers, soldiers, clones, or humanized animals. He does not seek empathy or epic narratives, but rather to show normalized behaviors, repetition, and a deliberate absence of conflict.

Adding a piece by David Sánchez to a collection is taking a critical stance toward the system we normalize.
