“Melted Friends” (2019) is a screenprint by Coté Escrivá that distills her language with clarity: recognizable characters and pop memory filtered through a lowbrow aesthetic — dark humor, punk, underground comics, and a “twisted” iconography with an unsettling, surreal turn. Here, the icon isn’t used to decorate, but to speak about wear and memory.
